Why do some of our best intentions-our hard considered resolutions, even-sometimes fail? Many reasons of course. But one good way of enhancing the likelihood of success is avoiding over-load. The tendency is to add the new resolution(s) to all that we are already doing. Don't do it. Before you take on archery, the novel, a losing weight program, drop something else. Otherwise you are not battling with learning archery but an over-full schedule which no amount of positive-thinking can overcome.
