You know what: you've done it. If you've come this far, you've beaten it. And before long you'll be so busy you'll be looking back to those days when a whole morning went by and the phone didn't ring and you were wondering whether your iPhone had lost its signal again. But before you do get so busy, remember to decide to stay recession-proof. Because it'll be back. Like bad weather, it'll be back. Some day.
- Be an investment not a cost;
- Be different;
- Have systems which work to maximise value for the customer and reduce cost for you;
- Measure profit and market share not just turn-over;
- Plan for the bad times.
And meanwhile it ain't fully over yet and there's plenty to be done.
