Monday Presenting Dozen

1. You must become an excellent presenter in order to make your case, build your personal presence/brand and overcome your demons.
2. Presenting is not reading PowerPoint slides. 
3. Excellent presenting is giving people a damn good reason why they should spend some of their life listening to you rather than being elsewhere.
4. Give them value which they could not get elsewhere: googling, reading an e-mail.....
5. Help them 'get it' by clear stucture and brilliant story telling.
6. Clear structure requires preparation.
7. Think film director; what is happening every minute of your talk and why?
8. Brilliant story telling requires practise. 
9. Practise voice, pace and points.
10. Nothing changes when it’s a remote/Zoom/Teams presentation except that all points are 55 times more critical. 
11. When it is over, review immediately and jot down your personal learning points because: see point 1.
