If you have a difficult section to write…perhaps you can’t get the character’s description correct. Perhaps ‘the why’ isn’t credible. Perhaps-frankly-even you find that chapter dull…

Don’t take a break. Start in another part of the novel: there’s always plenty to be done until one day it’s complete. 

Go write.
