You’re sorting time management.
- Know your big picture. Know what you want. Write it, draw it, live and breathe it.
- Align activity to that goal.
- But be pragmatic. You many have to do dull stuff to fund that acting, book writing, artisan bread start-up.
- Give up distractions. Start with Facebook and Twitter. They are as addictive as any such escapist habit. But they are stopping you reach your big picture and no amount of rationalisation will change that.
- Schedule your work days. Freewheel your leisure days. Distinguish the two.
- Prioritise by pay-off. Not by ease, first noticed, who is shouting…
- Never ever give up on improving your productivity. Without that aim chaos descends.
