- Check your breathing and your posture. The former full and relaxed. The latter upright, balanced, open.
- Re-create work free evenings.
- Give yourself permission for work-free weekends.
- Learn to say no. There are good books and good courses which can teach the skill.
- Get out into nature. Feel the wind, get wet, enjoy the sun.
- Exercise is optional, but movement is essential.
- Sort the issues you need to sort: money, relationships, fatigue.
- Do it (14) slowly, surely, day by day. Inch by inch. Cm by cm. Until you feel better and healed.
- Re-discover great novels.
- Re-discover swimming and cycling.
- Re-discover true friendship.
- Cut back, reduce and manage the addictions which fuel stress: TV, alcohol, the screen...
