Even if it’s not a full-on analogue Saturday, consider taking a manual Saturday, a hands-on Saturday. One where things are created for real not just joined-up electrons. A shelf finally put up (of course we are not good at it: we haven’t practiced. Practice doesn’t make perfect, it simply makes better.) Bread made, casserole on long, slow, cook. Garden tidied for autumn/fall. Art made and a bold wall constructed. Balancing routes for the kids. Throw in real weather, too. We are a finely-tuned mind-body creature; when mind and body are in synch they produce magic. Make it a mind-body Saturday.
