Brilliant isn't perfect. Perfect isn't brilliant. Trying for perfection often stifles the very best version of you which is the route to your brilliance being released. No, raise your standards, sure. Don't walk by a quality issue, true. But don't get hung up about 100% perfection. Presentations which are too slick often do not engage. Timetabled vacations for the children are often not so much fun for those on the receiving end. A little wabi sabi, a bit of imperfection is often the catalyst to brilliance.
