Our Master List has three sources:
- Your reflections, when you stop and think. You forget pressures, you forget urgency and you consider what would really make an impact at work and at home if you started addressing such topics. The ones-paradoxically-which do not have to be done now. But if addressed now would save so much pressure later on.
- Considered stuff from others: e-mail, meetings, etc. Of course: they have to be addressed. But not solely. They go in the mix.
- Your personal compass monthly review. Once a month: the last Friday of each calendar month is ideal, ask what is important in each of your six compass points: career/wellness/personal finance/relationships/fun and contribution.
