Chop wood, carry water, mow the lawn, rake leaves, build a wall, knead dough, bake bread, chop onions, assemble a casserole, sketch trees, hike the landscape and take a break to climb a tree, scramble on a stony seashore, toss a few pebbles out across waves, brew coffee and squat to drink and chat and eat that bread you made. Carry a pack stripped to essentials, check a traditional compass, feel skilled, walk miles and miles and miles. Sew up rips in trousers. Sleep well, awake refreshed, take on fresh challenges. Be strong. Do what a Hunter-Gatherer 21C might do.
