Without a compass, you lack direction. On a geographical compass, there are 4 main directions. On any hike in the wilderness, it's excellent practice to re-set your compass; make the most of the scenery, avoid the worst of obstacles.....The analogy holds well for life, of course. On your Personal Compass, six:
- Career: where do you want to be in 3y time? What are the next three steps? Who can help?
- Wellness: be proactive with M-E-D-S. Meditation-Exercise-Diet-Sleep. Which needs most attention?
- Finance: continue to focus on quality of life rather than (simply) standard of living. To chase the latter can paradoxically reduce the former.
- Relationships: need attention, require us to respect difference and act when one is not working.
- Fun: what's the point if you are not having fun?
- Contribution: to support others is to learn so much about yourself.
- Need more support on the six compass points? Get a Life is the book.
