- Simplify: having less to worry about makes it easier. Start subtracting now. Digital, physical, emotional.
- Flight-deck: one document, on paper with an overview of all to which you need to give attention. Things are never so bad when you have it all in one place. Ask any aircraft pilot.
- Strategy: what's your relaxation strategy? Five-a-side football, meditation, sketching are good. Alcohol, TV, even more apps less so.
- Action: take a worry and turn it into an action. There is always a step you can take.
- Earth: explore it, walk it, love it. It's big, it's exciting and a full day outside in the weather of Planet Earth always puts things in perspective.
- Ritual: start the day well. A great play-list. 10 minutes with the journal. Checking in with 2, the flight-deck. Create a morning ritual which beats the demons of worry.
- Immerse: in mind/body. Spend time in the garden, in the gym, at the kitchen table with art or home-made apple pie. Don't give space to the demons.
