Jo remained at the whiteboard. He wrote in block caps: ANALOG WALL PLANNER needed ON PHONE.
He said: Can we follow this through for a while?
Mary: Yes, as I want that capability. Big picture, forward planning. Instantly and easily.
Hemel: I'm not a techie...can anything like that be done?
Mary: could it be projected? A sort of hologram effect?
Kathy: Tim: you're the guru on this. What is possible? Could the technology handle this....
Jo: And Henri: what do you think? How might people behave?
Tim: the technology exists to project beyond the body of the phone, it's just there has never been a real reason. It was originally thought it might allow virtual screens much bigger than the actual screen for watching films but in fact the mind/brain is brilliant at viewing a small screen if the screen is at close quarters.
Henri: Tim is of course correct, we have been remarkably flexible at adapting our behaviour to meet the potential of the technology. This is a step change though. Tim needs to create a projection and our mind needs to be able to interpret it and yet it cannot disturb those near by nor be easily interpreted by them for reasons of confidentiality.
Jo: OK, I really want to take this further. How do we handle this? And remember we need a credible pitch by Monday.
