So here they were. They had done it.
Clean and secure offices with fully functioning Wi-Fi and coffee. What more did you need for a breakthrough?

They encircled the two tables they had pushed together to act as a board table.
Jo: ‘it's 0900, we’re all here and so I’ll kick things off. We have one year to turn around a failing business. But we have just one week to convince our CEO to give us that privilege. This is an excellent position to be in: nobody in this room has any baggage of responsibilities apart from that clear mission, those have been sorted. But you may have baggage of thoughts; we need to release those to identify how TotallyTotallyGlobal Inc. makes its comeback. Are there any limitations? Only that it happens within one year and therefore I am suggesting that we stick to our core strength of productivity software. But that can be open for debate.
My plan today is we spend the first 1h in mini 1:1 meetings getting to know each other and then we do a cycle of 45 mins on, 10 mins off of brainstorming to get some ideas. Today we need ideas. It will initially be driven by me.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be to turn those ideas into reality. And Friday will be to create and rehearse our pitch to Tim for Monday'.
