The 3 point plan. The Saga begins. Jo recruits Hemel. The plan unfolds. The first team meeting. Jo recruits Mary. Searching for Mission HQ. Finding the perfect spot. Trying to pitch to 'the man'.

Penny was possibly the perfect PA; incredibly pleasant at all times but totally loyal to her boss Tim Wrangling: you thought you had won her over but then you realised her true allegiance. She was patient with Jo as he sat in her office, watching Tim on the phone through the glass wall. But as she scrolled through screen after screen of the schedule of her boss he could see all was locked down. Tim Wrangling had not a single slot for 2 weeks despite Jo offered early, late, even to go over to his house on a Saturday. But there was nothing. He stressed it was critically important: but of course those were the only conversations Penny dealt with: ones which were critically important.
This was normal mode for Penny: politely not being able to give the time people wanted. He looked at his watch: 1045. OK, anything was worth a try here….
Jo: hey Penny when would you normally take Tim a coffee?
Penny: as soon as you are done, I’ll wander down and get us both caramel lattes.
Jo: how about if I get them and took Tim his. And got 2 minutes with him?
Penny considered…
I guess.
Jo: I’ll be back in 5.
He headed down a flight and joined the Barista coffee queue. Two small caramel lattes, that was easy. How would he use his 2 minutes? He opened his Moleskine and turned back to the day he had sat with Mary in the sunshine. He needed that page. He needed that story. But it needed to be just 2 minutes.
The barista was now preparing the two lattes. Syrup was going in. Standing, Jo scribbled his points and ran through his phrasing, mentally. Ok: that was it. He only had three points.
Two small caramel lattes?
