Hands

-given half a chance- can do so much more than poke at an undersized keyboard. They can chop wood, bake bread and carry water. They can help climb trees, rocks and traverse rivers. They can scramble eggs, they can massage and they can juggle. They hug really well. They wave goodbye, fold a blanket and sharpen a flint. Hands make camp, make fire and make channels to direct rain water. Hands paint, sculpt, handstand and invent. Hands help protect from rain and sun and predators.  Hands can configure a long-bow, wire a plug and sketch Salisbury Cathedral. They blow a kiss, write a love letter and wipe away tears.
