Who Says?

There are plenty of real barriers to progress in business. Insufficient funding. Lack of access to good people. Needing some time to think. But curiously there can be an apparent barrier which is often false: language or mental code.

Imagine the potential blocker of the statement: "That's not the way we do things around here". Is that the end of the discussion?

What if we said: "I know, but what if we did?..."

Language is one of the things which makes humans, human.

It's also something which can quickly and easily ensnare us and hold us back.
