- Build skills which will protect your career.
- Get better and better and better at them.
- Focus on those which a robot will not be able to do in your lifetime: creativity, deep empathy, leadership, story-telling etc.
- Always have a non-fiction book on the go.
- Have a study period of 30 minutes every day: try and use commuting time.
- No interruptions, no distractions.
- Read for 10 minutes. Write notes. Repeat three times.
- In the final 2 minutes teach it all back to yourself and remedy any gaps.
- Immediately use the ideas as you 'return to the world'.
- Set aside 2% of your income to invest in books and courses to invest in your brain.
- Focus on reading more quickly with no loss of comprehension plus better note-taking skills.
