My imperatives were out of the way: the books I had and wanted to write and had been requested by my audiences were on the shelves of bookshops and in a tiny stack in amazon. I then wrote two books in parallel and they were published around the same time, much to the annoyance of the two (different) publishers:
JFDI was the action book. A methodology for getting goals to happen and then taking seven worked examples (giving up smoking, writing your book....) and illustrating the methodology in action.
Unplugged is one of my personal favourites although not a great seller. Possibly it's too philosophical although in many ways its time has come. How to make sense of things in a world of too many things and too many distractions.
Both JFDI and Unplugged are now available free in digital format: simply check the LHS of this blog and down-load in your preferred format.
Meanwhile, publishers were starting to frustrate with (to me) their lack of creativity; it was time to start experimenting with self-publishing. I'd discover it was mainly good news but there was one big challenge. TBC.
