Routes to Less Stress, 22

1. Plan.
2. Plan better: what can I do today to help tomorrow? What can I do this week to help next week? And this month to help next month?
3. View life from your garden or at least through the window not just via the tiny screen of a phone.
4. Use a GIANT wall planner to schedule and avoid nasty surprises.
5. Learn and practise meditation.
6. Write daily to release frustrations, demons and inner angst.
7. Get more sleep.
8. Get more better sleep.
9. Escape regularly to the coast, the mountains and into the arms of someone who loves you.
10. Slowly but surely reduce the drugs from too many crisps/chips to excess alcohol.
11. Bake bread.
12. Make clay pots.
13. Take ten minutes every day to semi-supine.
14. Accept that which cannot be changed.
15. Regularly stand, stretch and 'uncrumple' the body.
16. Have technology-free times.
17. Practise asking what can I learn from this (crap*y) situation?
18. S l o w down.
19. Remind yourself Life is Good, even if this train journey is horrendous.
20. Stop more often.
21. Stop being efficient (getting things done). Become effective (getting the right things done).
22. Mess about, laugh and remember life is now.*
