8. At work, cut the social grease. Sure, you love people. You love the gossip and politics as much as anybody. But you have been there before. And you love much more going home on time, band practise and the odd game of tennis on a beautiful evening.
9. Don't accept a brief you don't understand or you know you cannot fulfil.
10. Be early to meetings. Breathe. Think: what do I want to achieve here? Start on time with an agenda, shared objectives and a facilitator who owns a clear end time.
11. Strip back your diary, your schedule so that you can see the wood for the trees.
