1. Hang out with smart people, ask questions and take notes.
2. Attend great courses paying for them yourself if necessary.
3. Visit museums and galleries frequently just doing one gallery per visit. Sit and reflect amongst the exhibits.
4. Volunteer to teach topics to small audiences to improve your understanding of a subject.
5. Write each day to force the brain to spark differently.
6. Go deep, deep, deep into a subject remembering the net can encourage superficiality.
7. Never believe your 'smartness' is limited.
