...as thoughts shift from celebration to fresh start, the possibility of a NY resolution or two springs to mind. And then a person's shoulders dip and a sigh is emitted as the originator realises their resolutions of 2012 came to nothing.
Resolutions don't always not succeed. But they do have a hard time of it as they are an easy statement of intent not a fundamental shift in thinking, behaviour and approach.
This year:stuff the resolution and bring on the revolution.
A Resolution:
- I'll lose weight.
- I'll write a best-seller.
- I'll leave my job and start my own business.
A Revolution:
- Wellness is the centre-piece of how I run my life from today. Every meal, every opportunity, every decision.
- I am a writer and I will generate 2000 words whatever my mood, the weather, the demands, every day
- I am now someone who manages their own destiny. My income stream is one aspect of that.
