- Follow Your Love: your passion, your thing, your expertise can build a viable business. What's there? Deep in your gut? In your soul? That you have to do? From cooking to copy writing, from solving problems to building furniture. Even to playing music. Find it. And start. Keep the day job if neccessary. But start. The simplest of gigs. Building a reputation.
- Do It For Love: because it's what you have to do. Do it to be really, really good. Do it to delight the customer. To amaze the customer. To astound the customer. The money will follow. The money is unlikely to be there initially because you are not really, really good. Yet. You're practising, you're learning.
- Love It Totally: become excellent. Become number 1 in your field. There are many reasons for being awesome at what you do but one is that there is no competition at all. Imagine that. Just you, the customer and great earnings.
- Love What You Do: respect the customer. But do not try and keep all customers happy; if you do you will become a commodity, a generalist another one of many in a crowded market. You must innovate. You must have your Sgt. Pepper moments.
- Love Grows Up: always. Don’t sit still. There is no such thing as a stable business, stable market or 100% loyal customers. Grow up, mature and change.
- Love, Learn, Live, Legacy: as you learn, build a legacy. A business which helps the community and leaves a positive legacy behind.
- Love & Let Go: your business will come to end. But the music will go on in a different form. It's spotting when and how to move on that makes a great business. To come back in another form.
