- Your body adjusts rapidly: ask more of it and it will give you more. Stand, walk and be energetic. Your body will become so.
- Your core energy can be maximised by attention to M-E-D-S.
- That's Meditation, taking time out and allowing mental restoration. The key: minimising data input for a while.
- That's Exercise, taking steady CV activity. The key: a sustainable activity which you will do on a regular basis.
- That's Diet, eating for nutrition not just fuel. The key: balance and variety.
- That's Sleep, the fundamental restorative process. The key: to realise that to wake with an alarm clock means that you are depriving your body of a fundamental requirement.
- Don't allow 'age' to get in the way of energy. There's chronological age (birth certificate), biological age (what your bio-indicators such as blood pressure and skin elasticity reveal) and psychological age (that's the important one: your choice).
- Nature is always uplifting and energy providing. But it's easy for us to go days and weeks without truly experiencing much of it. Lakes, forests, deserts, mountains, seashores. Be there.
- Chaos is debilitating. Create systems to keep it at bay.
- True friendships are restorative, enlivening and enlightening. Look after them.
- The right music at the right time will double your energy. It's what your play-lists are for.
- CV energy is brilliant. But build strength to keep stress and wear and tear at bay.
- Whatever short-term money goals you have, realise that true energy comes from chasing a passion. Ultimately the money and the passion must be aligned. And ultimately the money will flow from the passion.
- Simply because you can work all the time doesn't mean your mind/body can take it. Create zones-protected times- when electrons are banned, hardware is put away and conversations are enjoyed.
- A good book will boost your energy.
- Wellness is about balance. Fitness can be about extremes. The former will always give you energy.
- Regularly write away your concerns in your private notebook. You'll feel a whole lot better.
- Never ignore nor camouflage a symptom: a chronic sore throat is not (just) a sore throat; it's a body which needs some love and attention and down-time.
- Look at your body in a different way: not something to be repaired when it goes wrong, but something for which preventative maintenance would be a better strategy.
- Love more. That's love the verb.
- Cook fresh, sattvic, soul-enhancing food.
- Decide to have great resources of energy.
