Once upon a time, computers were revered. Or hated. Bigger than a pick-up truck, sitting in an air-conditioned room and supported by a team of workers.  And now? The Computer is life. The computer is everywhere, it's in everyone's palm and embedded in their consciousness.

It's fashionable to talk about ideas, creativity, innovation, thinking outside the box etc as a route to success. And it's correct of course. But it needs to be based on knowledge. Super stars such as Branson, McCartney and Jobs have and had the knowledge with which to do great things. It's difficult to think outside the box if you don't even know where the box is . Or worse there's nothing in it anyway. Read, grab every decent training course you can and learn. Get damned good at a few things. And then a lot of things.
