It's curious. Organisations want you to perform. But at the very same time, conform.
The more you conform, the more dulled you feel. The more dulled you feel, the less you perform.
So, you've got to be-in their eyes-a bit of a radical. Speak out at meetings. Push for real (not baseball hat/T-shirt) change. Challenge their crazy pricing strategy. Hang on in there and suddenly they'll get it.
You're performing by not conforming.
Easy? No.
Fun? Yes.
Feel alive again. Oh, yes.
