It's proving to be a busy week and a couple of your colleagues are on holiday. Here's a reminder of five basic productivity tips:
1. Stay smart. Stay intelligent. Take a 5 minute break every 45 minues to stop you drifting and allowing you to regularly re-focus.
2. Accept that you cannot do everything. Do what is highest pay-off and do it well.
3. Batch process similar activites eg. spend 30 mins on e-mail then forget it for a while; don't keep 'dipping' into it.
4. Keep meetings short with mininum number of participants.
5. Go home at a decent time and forget work.
