Business. What could or should be simpler? A business. It 'makes' something and sells it to those-'customers'- who would like to purchase it because of a need (real or perceived). It tries to make what it offers especially good and especially different so that its competitors do not have any opportunity to get the customer's money. And as customers keep coming back for more, the cost of sale goes down, hence profitability goes up, hence money can be invested to innovate, hence the business becomes unstoppable.
An endless inter-linked chain of meetings, PowerPoints, venti lattes, e-mails, bleeping SmartFones, conferences, mutterings about wi-fi and cascades within the organisation cause-most simply indeed-the plot to be lost.
