- Close the working day with a plan for tomorrow.
- Close the working week with a plan for next week.
- Close the working month will a plan for next month.
- Prioritise by pay-off. Never urgency, who shouts loudest nor easiest to tick off.
- Think 8+8+8: 8h of work, 8h of fun, 8h of sleep.
- Act as if you run your own business. In the New World of Work, you do.
- Dance even though you apparently can’t.
- Eat at least one piece of fruit a day.
- Drink more H2O than any other fluid.
- Always have a new skill on the go.
- Talk to your children as if they essentially mean well. They do, its just that they lack the experience of some aspects of Life.
- Spend less than you earn. Bank the rest. Grow it to one aspect of freedom.
- Believe in yourself for the other aspect of freedom.
- Never rely on stuff-even your iPod-to make you happy. Desert sunsets, her smile, Venice in Winter, a corner seat in a French café. They make us happy.
- Watch less news. Because it isn’t.
- Read and support these cool bloggers.
- Hug for longer.
- Live every waking minute full-on.
- Give zero time, zero energy and zero concern to cynics.
- Draw even though you apparently can’t.
- Remember that whatever sh*t you have to deal with, you can work it through, work it out and come out stronger and wiser. And more quickly than you ever thought possible.
- Walk, stretch and stop-and-think throughout the day.
- Do one additional radical thing every month. Month 1: scrap the TV.
