The Fourteen Secrets It Takes Most Of Us Far Too Long To Understand and Learn

1. Sex and Love are biologically, emotionally, logistically, philosophically different. Both are fantastic, clearly. But different and best not confused.
2. A resolution does not need a New Year.
3. A book can change your Life 150% for the better. Reading lots will help you find the ones which do.
4. How 99% of  teachers view and asses us at school has ZERO predictive ability of how we will perform in the big, wide world. Thank goodness.
5. Debt is such a 'pain in the arse'.
6. Really, really listening to someone-and them knowing and trusting it- can solve most, possibly all, of their problems.
7. Losing fitness is 100 times easier than re-gaining it.  There's a message there.
8. Neither Spanish nor Math/s are at all boring. They are keys to some pretty hot jobs. Vamos!
9. We'd pay a lot more attention to school Chemistry if we realised that Chemistry is Life. And Life is Chemistry.
10. Talk is really, really cheap. Action is expensive of time and energy. That's not the issue. It's about RoI: return on investment. One 0635am action towards your start-up is 1000 times the return on a dinner-party alcohol fuelled 'maybe' conversation.
11. We write a book because it is there and someone needs to write it down. Not for the best-seller list accolade.
12. Less-in almost everything-really is more.
13. We have no problem which cannot be solved. We need a different perspective, viewpoint or angle. And finding those requires regular 'time-out' to be at our best.
14. A list cannot be the full story. But it's a damn good start.
